This week in music…

This Friday at Stereo Live we will be hosts to Knife Party. They are from  Australia founded by Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen. Rob Swire is known for doing the vocals on Deadmau5’s “Ghosts n Stuff.” This duo has done amazing remixes of big groups like Nero, Labrinth, Porter Robinson, and Swedish House Mafia. They collaborated with Swedish House Mafia to make the single, “Antidote.” There are two versions of the video, one which is vulgar and includes nudity and a clean version.

After hearing Lana Del Rey’s album, she has come to release a new video for her song: “Blue Jeans.” The video is similar to the video for “Video Games,” which is an artistic and deep meaning to it, just like Lana attempts to portray in her album. Also this week, another group from that region is in town, The Naked and Famous, the band from New Zealand  Auckland is making their stop at House of Blues. Their heavy synth and bass make this indie band ave a unique sound which resonates and thrust the listener to dance and move. Make sure to see them this Saturday:
