Phoenix – “Trying To Be Cool”


After their headlining in Coachella, killing it at Glastonbury this past weekend, and headlining local festival Austin City Limits,  Phoenix has still had time to release a new single from their album “Bankrupt!” The band has taken to the festival circuit and held up to the popularity of their last albums, taking their new album to a new direction while keeping true to their original sound.

R. Kelly and Phoenix


There have been many odd collaborations pertaining to two artist that have nothing in common and creating something surreal. Skrillex and The Doors, Major Lazer and Flux Pavilion, Miike Snow and Ezra Koenig, but now at this years Coachella we were given a bigger surprise that all of these. R. Kelly and Phoenix together using the melody of Phoenix hit from 2009 from their album “Wolfgang Amadeus” with the vocals of R. Kelly’s hit from 2002.
